In July of 2010, JWA Financial Group earned a place in Wealth Manager Magazine’s 2010 Top Wealth Managers Annual Survey Report, sponsored by Pershing Advisor Solutions.  In addition, JWA made the list for Financial Advisor Magazine’s 2010 Financial Advisor Top RIA Rankings.

In the January 2009 Issue of D Magazine Jim Whiddon was once again named one of the Best Financial Planners in Dallas.

 

Forbes magazine named JWA Financial Group one of its "Up-And-Comers" in their October 2008 issue. The magazine highlighted JWA as one of the 25 smaller "RIA firms to watch."

 


JWA once again made Bloomberg’s Wealth Manager’s list of 2008 Super Stars, the magazine’s annual ranking of top wealth management firms.

 


Jim Whiddon was featured as the Dallas CEO to Meet in the March 2008 issue of D CEO magazine. Teaching people the “last investment strategy they will ever need” is the best part of being the CEO of JWA Financial Group, according to Jim.

 

1 Texas Monthly contracted Crescendo Business Services to administer a rigorous research process and identify a select group of wealth managers who are “exceptional in both their ability and commitment to overall satisfaction.”  More than 96,000 high net worth consumers were asked to evaluate wealth managers in the Dallas/Fort Worth community.  Fewer than 7% of the wealth managers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area were selected.  For more details including research declarations click here.

2 Texas Monthly formed a partnership with Crescendo Business Services, an independent research firm, to survey 95,000 high-net-worth residents in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to select “only wealth managers whom they knew through personal experience, and to evaluate them based upon nine criteria:  customer service, integrity, knowledge/expertise, communication, value for fee charged, meeting of financial objectives, post-sale-service, quality of recommendations and overall satisfaction.”  The wealth managers receiving this recognition represent less than 3% of the wealth managers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
